I have one as well.

Zapdos and a ground type in a double battle.
Zapdos knows Discharge. The Ground type knows Earthquake.(you can guess how this is going to work out)Zapdos uses Discharge, GT (Ground Type) isn't affected by it.
GT uses Earthquake. Zapdos isn't affected by it because of Levitate.

I think that strategy can also work with any pokemon that got Levitate.Such as Eelektross

Setup Stealth Rocks with a Swampert and then keep using Roar.

Yes it would, but they need to know Discharge.
